With more than 35 years of technical-commercial experience, my journey in engineering began through vocational training in metal and mechanical engineering. I started as a hydraulic technician in the maritime industry and quickly advanced to international roles within the maritime sector.
My career evolved from a technical specialist to a commercial leader, where I specialized in cargo pumps for the international shipping and offshore industries. As head of sales, I contributed to the company's growth from 6 million guilders to 120 million euros in revenue, expanding from 25 to 185 employees. After a successful period as a commercial director in maritime services, I founded Noord Maritime & Offshore Consultancy (NMOC) in 2014, where I leverage my extensive experience and network for international maritime projects.
Now, as a Customer Success Manager at the Van Holland Group INC, I am involved with all entrepreneurs who continue to grow in America after their initial startup phase.
